Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute equity, future and derivative orders in Hong Kong/China and other regional markets with understanding of trading algorithm (market microstructure)
- Provide market color/ideas to portfolio managers and give investment advice from an execution perspective
- Assist in streamlining trading operation to improve overall execution quality
- Monitor P&L, position and help resolve settlement issue
- Occasionally work on night shift for US market trading
- Knowledge in programming language like C#, Java, Python, VBA, R, matlab will be a plus
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in finance, economics, or other technical disciplines
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Minimum 2 years trade execution experience, preferably in multi-strategy hedge fund
- Excellent skill with Excel spreadsheet, programming skill is highly preferred
- Immediate Availability preferred
