Our client is an vibrant Fintech start-up in Hong Kong with strong partnership with well established corporations in banking, investment management, corporate financial advisory services, etc.

Currently it is seeking a versatile professional to become their Legal Counsel. Responsible include but not limited to liaison with regulators on business plan preparation, preparation of compliance documentation, drafting & implementation of agreement terms & contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related discipline, LLM is an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years working experience with at least 3-year experience within the financial services environment. Insurance or Banking Industry experience preferable.
• Good understanding of compliance activities in financial services.
• Fully conversant with Hong Kong regulatory Directives and Guidelines.
• Articulate, effective communication skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally (lawyers, regulators, auditors) at all levels.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin). Competency in drafting and processing Chinese legal documents is a definite advantage.
