DESCRIPTION

Our client is the world’s leading international design studio designing luxury urban and resort hotel projects around the globe. Working closely with the Design Director and other team members, you will work on space planning, design conceptualization and develop the project design. In addition, you will manage coordination with other consultants and participate in project meetings and presentations as needed.

Specific responsibilities

• Provide pre-design services which may include conducting feasibility studies or specifying the requirements the design must meet.
• Manage the development of design successfully from one phase to the next, without compromise to quality, budget, or schedule.
• Participate in project meetings and Client presentations as needed.
• Provide quality control and review design documentation and schedule project team deliverables.
• Attend Client work-sessions and design reviews as required.
• Travel internationally for assigned project presentations, coordination meetings and site visits as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• You have a B.S. or B.A. in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design from an international university.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in luxury hospitality projects,
• You have excellent CAD, SketchUp and Photoshop skills as well as excellent hand sketching ability
• You have experience of dealing with international hotel operators and consultants.
• You have the ability to work with multiple project teams, managing tight timelines.
• You have leadership experience of managing a project team of 3-5 resources.
• You have excellent communication skills and oral and written language skills in English
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Interior Designer
