Responsibilities:

• assist in developing learning materials, preparing teaching documents, organizing library workshops and updating subject guides;
• plan and design promotional materials in different formats including printed graphics and multimedia presentations for library events;
• assist in managing and updating Library website and social media platforms;
• collect statistics and manage user feedback from library activities;
• participate in library-wide events such as library orientations; and
• perform shift duties at service counters.

 
Applicants should:

• possess a recognized university degree;
• have at least one year full-time post-qualification working experience, preferably in developing e-learning materials;
• have proficiency in layout presentation using Adobe Tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator;
• preferably have knowledge of audio/video editing and social media applications;
• have good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to manage complex activities and monitor detailed work accurately; and
• be responsible with positive customer care attitudes and have the ability to work independently.

 
The appointee will be required to work shifts in evenings and weekends.  Applicants with work experience in the tertiary education sector and certificate in library studies and/or graphic design or related disciplines will be an advantage.
