Providing procurement expertise, project management skills, analytical skills and influencing skills to the Asia Pacific Sourcing team. Implements sourcing strategies and tactical purchasing plans that support regional sourcing, markets, business units and distribution channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies under the guidance of the Sourcing leadership to support business requirements; including sourcing, commodity management, negotiation, contracting, inventory control, cost analysis and capacity analysis within the framework of company and social responsibility values. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support business requirements.
• Develop project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, business impact and risks. Execute, plan, identify and resolve issues or obstacles, gain alignment and communicates to key stakeholders.
• Identify supply and supplier issues. Analyze information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities and associated risk. Develop solutions and gains consensus to resolve issues.
• Facilitate the design and implementation of measurement tools to evaluate business process effectiveness and supplier performance.
• Lead the design and implementation of sourcing processes and foundational procurement systems that improve service, efficiency, quality and reduce costs.
• Lead the development of requests for proposal, bid analysis, contract negotiations and blanket purchase orders.
• Provide technical or product expertise to suppliers and internal customers regarding commodities, products or services.  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree Holder
• At least 5 years relevant experience in food industry
• Solid experience in Automated Purchase Order Management System, cost management, direct buying, performance metrics development and root cause analysis, project management, budget management & supply chain management
• Understanding of cost, service and quality drivers, market and technology factors, and their impact on commodities, products, and services.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership such as landed cost, warranty, repair.
• Strong communication and analytical skill
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Fluent in English; Good command of Chinese
