In this role, you will carry out the instruction rendered by the Supervisor to meet or exceed satisfactory operating standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verification of claims particulars before claim registration
• Processing and settlement of Motor, Employees’ Compensation and Personal Lines claims
• Handle and settle insurance claims within well-defined guidelines
• Answer Claims Hotlines and general telephone enquiries
• Approve and validate claims settlement and cheque requisitions within the limit of authority
• Identify and input the blacklisted clients and poor risk cancellation / revision of policy terms to Business Development and Underwriting Department
• Approach injured workers in order to identify EC problematic cases
• Approach motor policyholders guiding them in own damage claims with an aim to have their vehicles repaired in our approved repairers for costs savings purpose
• Assist in UAT
• Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisors
  
  

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Secondary education or above
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience with general knowledge in the general insurance industry
• General knowledge in general insurance claims
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Good computer skills
