Job Description
The Law Society seeks applications from enthusiastic, competent and suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Assistant in the Member Services Department. The position will be responsible for event support, data entry, filing, handling telephone enquiries, and providing general clerical support to the Member Services Department.
Job Duties:
- To assist in the co-ordination of events, activities and seminars and provide onsite support;
- To type, copy and distribute agenda, papers and minutes of meetings;
- To assist in the operation of Helplines maintained by the Department and any work incidental thereto;
- To coordinate in the production of Law Society publications;
- To assist in updating and posting information in the Law Society website and App; and
- To handle secretarial and clerical duties as shall be delegated.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- At least 1 year office working experience;
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing;
- Good telephone manners; and
- Immediate availability is preferred.
