Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials
To provide guidance on students’ academic writing and projects
Preparing and developing teaching materials
Participating on various committees and boards meeting
Preparing required documentation for grading and reporting on student progress
To act as a marker and second marker or internal moderator for student assignments and projects
To participate in school projects and functions, accreditation, validation, moderation, staff development workshops, seminars and conferences, where necessary.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor/ Master Degree in relevant field or other relevant professional qualifications
A minimum 2 years’ relevant teaching experience in vocational education
A minimum 2 years’ working experience (Supervisor or Manager) in subject area
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment holder
Membership of relevant industry associations and ongoing involvement in industry-related activities
Competency in using English as the teaching medium is required
Be flexible and able to adapt in relation to the changing needs of the department
Able to motivate students to achieve and fulfill their potential
