Be the lead and inspiration in our transformation journey for the products Supply Chain, act as global head role to manage & execute end-to-end data analysis aims for operational excellence of global Supply Chain Management for Philips Personal Health business.

You are responsible for

• Determines the policy for the logistics department of the Business Unit.
• Manages an integral logistics department via a large number of department managers.
• Formulates the long-term logistics policy, taking into account all the relevant factors for integrated management Initiates changes to logistics management concepts in accordance with the requirements of the business leading to improvements across the entire supply chain.
• Organize & develop analytics towards the defined Supply Chain metrics.
• Expertize in translating business requirements in to solutions and vice versa.
• Strong execution and drive for results, focus on customers and change management to force E2E operational excellence for Supply Chain functions           
• Applies advanced analytic techniques such as optimization, simulation, data mining and statistics to design, implement, validate, and refine mathematical models and algorithms to understand, evaluate and optimize supply chain products.
• Balances analytics with sufficient business acumen to translate complex business challenges into tractable mathematical models and IT requirements for automation                                                                                          
• Develops insightful data driven recommendations and actions.
• Act as a business owner for Supply Chain Analytics investments, partner with HR, IT and the business to ensure all aspects of capability building, including rollout in the markets.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor Degree or above, MBA preferred
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in supply chain and operations management.   
• Knowledge of statistical programs (i.e. eViews, Mathlab) is necessary. A PhD in mathematics, physics or statistics is a preferred.
• Strong experience in managing multinational / multi-cultural teams in complex business environments and dealing with customers.
• In depth knowledge of Inventory and Delivery Performance Management                                                                                         
• Excellent communications skills with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in managing communication at all levels in the organization, and ability to interact at the highest level of the organization.
