MISSION / JOB PURPOSE                                                                                                            

The Senior Technical Engineer - Network will be under the Enterprise Network team to provide network technical support, project implementation and operational support across the APAC regions.

This Technical Engineer will expect to have solid technical experiences in Network, Firewall, Security and Voice/UC&C domain to integrate different technologies to innovative solutions based on business requirements. Involving project delivery from concept, scoping, design to implementation 

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                               

• Undertake configuration, maintenance support and troubleshooting for Enterprise Infrastructure & Network globally
• Provide ITIL based Incident/Change/Problem management in a global operational environment
• Design and deliver technical solutions for the network, firewall and security product portfolios
• Able to resolve complicated technical issues with effective engagement with vendors
• Work with incident managers, project managers and senior stakeholders to deliver services and projects
• Effectively manage end-to-end technical project delivery via project management life cycle
• Participate in regional / global projects in Network and Security area and work closely with vendors for project delivery

Requirements                                                                                                                                

• Degree holder in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
• Act as networking expert / SME with +8 years experiences in managing enterprise scale network environment. 
• SME expertise and hands on experiences in managing Network, Firewall and security products including but not limited:
  • Cisco Routing & Switching products and Nexus Data Centre products, DC overlay technologies, ACI and SDN solution
  • F5 load balancing and security technology (GTM/LTM/ASM/AFM)
  • Palo Alto firewall (Good to have: Checkpoint firewall, Blue Coat Proxy, VPN, IPS)
  • Aruba wireless and ClearPass Policy Manager
  • Network sniffer monitor and DNS tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, QIP
  • Knowledge of DNS & DHCP (IPAM)
  • UNIX / Linux and scripting (Python/Ansible/Perl/Shell)
  • Riverbed WAN optimization and SolarWinds network monitoring

• Strong hands on managing network protocols and technologies e.g. OSPF, BGP, STP, 802.1q, PIM, HSRP/VRRP.
• Experience working in a ‘DevOps’ role and familiar with SDN, NFV, Cloud and Cloud Management Platforms, and demonstrable experience in integrating technologies through code and the use of APIs.
• Strong command of spoken and written English & Chinese
