Job Description
Our Client is a Tier 1 Investment Bank with astonishing results in the last three years and they are now looking for a helpdesk professional to join their energetic and dynamic team. In Hong Kong, they have around 10 helpdesk support professionals. The candidate should come from a financial services background and possess at least 2 years of experience in providing front line support to end users,
In this role, you are required to provide day-to-day first-line end-user support and participate in infrastructure projects and implementation activities across the APAC region. You will liaise with customers to report and diagnose IT related problems. You will assist in negotiation with vendors, outsourcers and contractors on pricing and requirements. You will also be involved in monitoring and reviewing performance statistics and reports.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 years working experience in first-line user and technical support
- Working experience in financial services sector would be preferred
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and domain administration, Blackberry, Proxy, DHCP, Lotus Notes and McAfee
