Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful applicant will be responsible for generating new leads for business opportunities primarily in the Asian region.

The focus of this position is to be in regular contact with a wide range of potential customers.  

This will include contact by phone, in person and by email and other means.  

Potential customers include project owners, contractors, project management consultants and large sub-contractors in Project Development, Construction, Mining, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas. 

The position will be based out of our Hong Kong (Sheung Wan) office and will report directly to the CEO.

JOB TASKS

The successful applicant will be required to complete the following tasks in this position:

-       Rolling targeted phone, email and mail campaigns to potential customers

-       LinkedIn campaigns and Company Profile updates

-       Manage, update and maintain internal Prospect Register

-       Research potential customers sufficiently (through internet and direct contact ) to vet compatibility and interest in our products before passing to our Management Team for further action & demonstration

-       Coordinate and administer the sales process

-       Participate in in-house training to gain sufficient base knowledge of the software capabilities to enable you discuss with potential customers

-       Provide direct input on marketing materials, website etc.

-       Must be able to compose well written letters, particularly marketing related letters

-       Review and provide feedback as needed on commercial documentation through the sales process

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience essential in some of our target industries 
  • Experience in marketing & sale development roles such as tenders, marketing, client relationship, project development or delivery
  • Previous experience in markets such as Asia or Australia
  • Ability to talk directly with management as well as key operational staff to establish connections
  • Preferably must have experience with IT systems, and/or packaged software applications in your past marketing and sales related roles
  • Previous experience with Document Management Software highly desirable
