Responsibilities:

• Real time operation of Baggage Handling System (BHS) including MICS, SAC, RBAS to manage the baggage flow inside the system, handle system fault, EBS management, etc
• Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure the maximum system availability is   achieved
• Liaise with ramp handling operators for real time baggage handling arrangements and day-to-day system operations relative to baggage flow control, delayed flights, changes to lateral and reclaim assignment;  
• Keep logs of all events, occurrences, breakdowns, conversations, interfaces with ramp handlers, airline representatives, maintenance contractors and record all management instructions
• Liaison with contractors including BHS operation and maintenance on the fault follow up and system resumption arrangement
• Report on major system failure to allow Duty AM to evaluate the situation and activate the contingency procedure where necessary
• Manage the Fallback Tag List and notify Airlines
• Investigate and reply to short shipped baggage inquiry with findings
• Update flight information message and daily flight schedule and input to the SAC system for lateral allocations
• Retrieve bags from EBS Lane as per RHO's request 
• Request RHOs to early open lateral for heavy loading flights
• Perform on-site operation monitoring, maintenance contractors’ deployment and container spot check for baggage loading accuracy
• Liaise with AVSECO MAEDS for the daily X-ray services arrangement
• Required to work on shift duties

Requirements:

• Degree holder with minimum 1 year of experience. Previous front-line experience in airport / airline operation is essential. Secondary level with at least 4 years working experience in airport related area. University fresh graduate will also be considered
• Knowledge in baggage system operation and PC skill will be an advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese
• Possession of a valid HK driving license class 1 and 2 will be an advantage
