Role synopsis    

As Project Development Manager you will report to the CEO and be responsible for supporting the design, development and delivery of new innovative business models within the Mobility Services / Electrification market.

This will involve leading projects, and developing new products and services, as well as identifying routes to market, partnerships and business models that are sustainable and provide long term advantage to our partners. Success is identifying opportunities that will scale and making those businesses happen in key markets.

Key accountabilities    

You'll be accountable for supporting the CEO in the:

• Identification of innovative business opportunities within the strategic frame of the Mobility/Electrification strategy
• Design of business models that have the potential to scale to material businesses, where possible leveraging existing strengths and assets
• Delivery of small scale programmes to build those businesses, potentially first in pilot stage, by negotiating with partners and other eco-system players.  Output is new commercial enterprises.
• Build and maintain relationships with external companies relevant to mobility/electrification
• Preparation of materials for governance and external meetings with potential partners.

Essential education     

• Degree or relevant equivalent qualification

Essential experience and job requirements    

To be successful you'll need:

• A track record of leading projects and successful delivery
• Experience of developing and deploying new and innovative business models that create significant value
• Experience of working with 3rd parties, contractual and negotiating experience
• Consumer understanding and awareness – experience of building compelling value propositions
• Experience in a range of mobility-relevant technology and its application in business models
• Ability to work in flexible and highly commercially focussed way to achieve results

Desirable criteria & qualifications    

• Entrepreneurial experience
• Direct experience in mobility and/or retail.
• Cross cultural and global working
