The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Line Manager to develop the Australia / NZ / Pacific Island / Africa trade for maximizing revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the focal point of contract, carry out and report on sales visits for the assigned clients;
• To handle sales-related issues and enquires raised by clients;
• Secure nomination and cargo bookings with maximum contribution to the Line and the Company as stipulated from time to time;
• Prepare forecast and customer performance review on a timely basic;
• Develop new accounts and strengthen customer base by assuring service reliability and improving customer satisfaction;
• Liaise with Management and Regional office to identify potential clients and business opportunities;
• Build up a professional image and maintain a strong business relationship with clients;
• Monitor market trends;
• Any ad hoc projects assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration/ /Logistics / Marketing or related disciplines;
• With at least 8 years of sales and marketing experience in shipping / logistics industry;
• Knowledge of Australia / NZ / Pacific Island / Africa trade services would be an advantage;
• Presentable, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently;
• Hands-on MS Office applications knowledge;
• Proficiency in Cantonese, English & Mandarin;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager.
