Job Description

What you'll mainly be doing:

  • Develop leads, normally through the marketing team (i.e. events and campaigns) within life insurance carriers in HK and surrounding high-priority markets for Montoux
  • Create new leads, through specific campaigns you embark on with your target customers
  • Exploit Montoux's high performing marketing team to build our brand and create opportunities
  • Help life insurance companies understand the challenges they face in Pricing Transformation today and position Montoux to help solve them
  • Be the face of Montoux in-region, especially at Montoux events and other industry conferences / events
  • Develop business through Montoux's growing partner channel and collaborate with them on events
  • Qualify prospects and manage a sales pipeline
  • Prepare sales plans / account plans based on specific accounts agreed to be targeted
  • Manage contract negotiations with new clients
  • Work with our customer success, data science and actuarial team/s to represent the voice of the customer to help design and develop new products and services

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience selling to large enterprises, preferably within financial services, even more preferred in insurance, even more preferred in life insurance
  • Know how to maximize opportunities coming from partners and turn those into deals
  • Experience working with global consultancies and software companies to create joint value propositions
  • Able to own all stages of the pipeline, from new deal creation to contract closing
  • Comfortable working in an autonomous role, towards agreed targets
  • You are a hungry sales person that is motivated by closing deals and earning unlimited commission $$
  • Has worked in a "solution-sales" type environment before so you can deeply understand customer needs and requirements before even contemplating what to pitch or provide a demo, you should be equally comfortable in a SaaS environment (we know, this is asking a lot...)
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese

We have an existing stable of customers and big brands that are using Montoux, some of them with regional or global HQ's in Hong Kong, so we expect to be able to support this role with warm leads, but there will be a lot of prospecting, market and business development required, both directly and with our flourishing partners.
