Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D works on surface coatings and new coating materials process development for various consumer products
• Conduct chemical testing and materials characterisation of the coatings/materials and their functional properties using advanced instrument such as SEM, XRF, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, CVS, etc.
• Optimize coating processes and operating parameters required for the developed coatings/materials
• Follow up R&D project enquiry, provide feedback and initiate recommendation on coating processes, laboratory procedures and testing issues
• Keep good laboratory records and maintain best practice in laboratory operations
• Perform ad hoc duties and assignments when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or related science and engineering disciplines
• 1-2 years of experience in R&D or testing laboratory; knowledgeable in materials characterization techniques are added advantages
• Initiative, independent, analytical, patient, team work and able to work under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis
• Fresh graduates with relevant background will also be considered
