Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate R&D works on surface coatings and new coating materials process development for consumer electronics and various consumer products
• Provide technical support to field service team for trouble-shooting regarding surface coatings and new coating material processes
• Coordinate materials characterisation, testing and quality control of the coatings/materials and its functional properties with advanced instruments such as SEM, XRF, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, CVS, etc.
• To consolidate and carry out data analysis on laboratory work and prepare of the corresponding project report
• Responsible for keeping laboratory records and maintaining best practice in laboratory operations
• Provide support to ad hoc projects and assignments

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master / Bachelor Degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or related science and engineering disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of supervising experience in R&D laboratory; experience in testing and materials characterization techniques and HOKLAS are added advantages
• Initiative, independent, analytical, patient, leadership and able to work under pressure and tight deadline. Commitment and integrity are highly concerned.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced instrument softwares

Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (Weekdays and alternative Saturday)
