As an Assistant Manager Finance Information Systems, you will act as a bridge between Finance and IT department transforming the finance requirements into IT terminology; optimizing the usage of ERP and Finance related systems and coordinating system integration in order to promote work efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the operational or functional defeats or inefficiencies of ERP or finance related systems and arrange rectification amongst various parties within the reasonable time in Finance Department
• Manage the implementation of finance related system/EDI projects in Finance Department as well as other Business Units
• Discuss and suggest end-users in Finance Department for the technical efficiency and cost effective way of finance related system projects
• Provide first tier technical support and/or trouble shooting of ERP and finance related systems to the department, especially during the period of month-end closing
• Manage and document user requirements and specifications
• Explore vendors or external advisors for the most feasible technical solutions to the department
• Liaise with IT department on projects status refresh, collaborative possibility, IT governance matters and etc.
• Administer business or finance changeover projects
• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant, Project Management Professional or Certified Information System Auditors would be preferable
• At least 7 years relevant experience of which 3 years shall be at supervisory level
• Familiar with ERPs, e.g. Oracle EBS or Microsoft AX, DBMS, e.g. MS SQL server and Oracle DB, Date Warehouse and Business Intelligence and computer literatures, e.g. Structure Query Language, C#, VBA or AutoIt
• Flexible and able to work under pressure within stringent deadlines
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Occasional travel to PRC is required
