KPMG’s Strategy Group works with C-level executives to identify, structure and help solve their most critical strategic issues across the economic and transaction cycles.

Responsibilities

- Build client relationships to be seen as the ‘go to’ person and a trusted advisor by senior executives
- Lead, design and finalize client deliverables, including shaping the overall problem solving approach
- Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on standard engagements
- Demonstrate different influencing styles, adjusted to different individual styles of clients and managing the buy-in of key decision makers
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of a sector
- Motivate, coach and develop project team members
- Provide constructive upwards feedback
- Identify, pursue and covert a pipeline of business development opportunities, including cross-selling

Experience & Background

- Demonstrate an analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
- Demonstrate confidence and people skills to be able to handle senior client relationships
- Demonstrate career ambition and pragmatism
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of a sector
- Evidence experience of leading multiple complex, international projects in a consulting or corporate environment
- Demonstrate a track record to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Chinese proficiency is a definite advantage
- Evidence 8+ years relevant experience
