Responsibilities:

• Formulate and review credit policies and guidelines, and form the first opinion of credit judgment on policy or product related proposals as submitted by business units
• Perform independent assessment on credit proposals, provide recommendations or make credit decisions according to the delegated authorities
• Conduct yearly credit reviews for existing customers
• Ensure credit risk policy, guidelines procedures etc. are in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Carry out ad hoc reviews or projects as required

Requirements:

• University graduate, with professional qualification preferred
• Over 6 years’ practical banking experience in particular, credit assessment, credit initiation, credit approval, credit policy and credit monitoring etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lending principles, credit products, regulatory requirements and related market practice
• Good time management as well as good business judgment and analytical skills
• Independent with minimal guidance for the approval works

Candidates with less experience can be considered as “Credit Analyst”
