The incumbent, reporting to the IT Department Head, will be responsible for IT infrastructure and  security:

• managing the group’s network infrastructure and IT operations by leading a team of system network and support staff including network design, configuration, installation, connectivity and implementation
• building up system platforms, data center, security systems and other electronic infrastructure
• providing robust and seamless IT support to the group including major network revamp projects covering HK and Mainland China offices

Main duties include:

• implement and maintain all network, security and computer systems to meet the organization’s business needs and future development
• project technical consultation on all aspects of departmental IT functions
• maintain project plans and documentation of all systems builds and modification, as necessary
• provide technical assistance and mentoring to the technical team members for data, systems and architectural design
• research, identify, evaluate and recommend new IT products and services as required
• liaise, cooperate and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultants
• prepare reports on network performance and utilization to management
• develop corporate policies, procedures and other documentation related to network, system and use/security
• responsible for the overall design and growth of the company’s local and wide area networks

Requirements:

• Degree holders in Information Technology / Computer Science or Engineering / Mathematics or other related disciplines
• 10 years’ experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide system platform, LANS, WANs, WLANS, VPNs, etc; preferably with 2 years leading an infrastructure team in a sizeable organization
• extensive knowledge of enterprise Ethernet, VLANs, QoS, routing, switching, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization
• experience managing a Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange environment
• proven track record in core infrastructure architecture design and project management
• PMP or equivalent qualifications would be an advantage
• proactive, detail-minded with strong communication and problem solving skills
• good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua
• occasional travel to China
