You are responsible for developing and deploying appropriate and cost-effective IT solutions to support business and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates, analyzes, and modifies existing programs and systems of moderate complexity
• Participates in analysis of business problems, develops and implements new programs and systems of moderate complexity; codes, tests, and debugs programs; prepares program specification and documentation
• Verifies test results for new or modified programs done by junior staff and provides advices to them on program design, coding and testing
• Provides production support in a maintenance environment
• Provides technical support to business users and assists them as required to resolve problems and coordinate systems implementation.
• Maintains current technical skills and begins to gain experience in more application systems as well as ability to perform more complex technical analysis and business requirements analysis.
• Acts as project leader of minor projects and backup to Senior Analyst Programmer
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years relevant IT working experience preferable in banking industry
• Familiar with ORACLE PL/SQL, JavaScript, Java/JSP, EJB, SOAP, ASP, HTML, Servlet and XML
• Database knowledge in ORACLE, DB2, or SQL Server
• Knowledge of C++ and UNIX shell script programming are added advantages
• Strong communication skills, eagerness and ability to achieve aggressive project targets
