The Magnetic Asia marketing team operates as an event marketing agency, and executes the marketing activities for Magnetic Asia’s festival, concert and ticketing brands and provides marketing services to third party event organisers in Hong Kong and Singapore. The team’s capability covers market analysis, marketing plan development, PR management and media liaison, content and creative development, paid digital marketing, social media marketing and performance evaluation.

Magnetic Asia Marketing Content Lead – PRC 

As the Content Lead – PRC, you will work as part of the Marketing Team to create innovative and effective marketing initiates for internal and third party projects. Your primary responsibility is leading the planning and execution of the PRC focused components of marketing campaigns. You will assist the Marketing Manager to identify effective marketing channels and develop content that will engage target audiences.

You are: 

• An experienced marketing professional with 4+ years of experience working on marketing, PR, communications, media or advertising projects in the events or entertainment industry in the PRC. Hong Kong experience is a plus.
• Armed with insights – you understand PRC market trends and consumer preferences and can translate these into actionable marketing initiatives.
• A strong communicator, who is comfortable presenting to senior personnel, interacting with media and working with team members.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and can read and write English and Chinese. Fluency in Cantonese is a plus.
• A degree holder with a major in marketing or a related field. 

You will:

• Support the Marketing Manager and CMO to deliver the company’s marketing objectives and initiatives.
• Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, develop and manage PRC focused marketing roadmaps (including ATL, BTL, digital and social) for projects, ensuring an integrated strategic vision that reflects the ongoing evolution and trends of PRC consumers.
• Utilise consumer insights to develop the PRC focused communication direction and tone of voice for marketing projects.
• Lead the execution of PRC focused marketing initiatives, including: planning and maintaining brand features and content, developing creative briefs and overseeing the development of images and video, driving the production schedule for PRC channels (websites, blogs, social media, apps, print etc).
• Make recommendations and provide insights regarding PRC consumer experience to improve marketing project ROI – for example, evaluate potential PRC communication platforms, implementing approved activities and assist in the curation of PRC media list.
• Regular interaction with key stakeholders, including other business units, clients, contractors, sponsors, and media to ensure effective project execution and identify potential delays, issues and variances, and to build and maintain good relationships with them.
• Presents regular updates to Marketing Manager.
• Prepare reports, presentations and communications for internal and client stakeholders as required.
