Job Description

Position Function

The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing Hong Kong market and selling various levels of golf academy programs. The incumbent helps develop collateral materials and makes presentations about PGA academy Mission Hills to prospective individual, family and schools. The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager may also interact with the media, public relations consultants and the community in creating and overseeing plans promotional events and related golf programs. In addition, the incumbent is the primary liaison between the academy and current students, coordinating full time and other short term programs such as winter/summer combines. The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager reports to the Business Development Director of China.

 

Major Duties

  • Sells various types of academy programs to individuals, families, schools and other organizations;
  • Discuss marketing strategies in Hongkong market;
  • Works closely with the academy coaching team to identify key products for HK market;
  • Creates and coordinates production of collateral materials to support camp sales this summer;
  • Develops and makes presentations to prospective schools and groups regarding academy amenities and the value of PGA of America; serves as the primary public relations contact for the academy;
  • Follow the CRM system to prepares regular reports on sales leads and revenue generated, etc;
  • Assists in the development of plans and arrangements for promotional events and programs to encourage program sales;
  • Serves as primary liaison in communication of information to the enrolled students;
  • Performs related duties, as assigned or as necessary;

 

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Considerable knowledge of marketing and academy program especially camp development;
  • Knowledge of effective sales and marketing techniques;
  • Skill in sales presentations and handling sales closings;
  • Considerable skill in oral and written communication and in developing camp sales collateral material;
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and utilizing various software packages;
  • Ability to organize and track prospects and to plan and coordinate promotional events and programs;

 

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field;
  • Three to five years sales experience in golf academy or golf club sales or related commercial or business sales;
