Job Description: Application Support Engineer 

We are looking for a talented support engineer to join our IT team. You will be in a part of our existing team for supporting our customer's operations critical service support, carrying out data research, liaising with technology and other internal teams on workflow improvements, data interpretation and data improvements and help in providing solutions that drive ongoing improvements to the quality.

  • Aggregate70% Bachelor’s degreeholderin Engineering or Technology (ComputerScience,InformationSystems, Electronics & Communication System orequivalent)

  • Knowledge in troubleshooting Web based / Windows based Applications
  • Should ready to work on all holidays where in comp- off can be availed

 Job Location: Hong Kong

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot application problems and analyze the root cause and scenarios
  • Assist the development team in explaining the business knowledge and flow of operations
  • Quickly understand the business scenario and map the same with relevant applications
  • Strive to ensure that all tickets are addressed and issued within SLA
  • Monitoring the Tickets and generating reports periodically.
  • Attending Daily Problem Management Meeting & weekly change management meetings and coordinating with team members regarding technical & Process related issues
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes
  • Maintain overall ownership of users issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe
  • Monitor Software application platform using scripts or tools
  • Handle questions and feedback from users
  • Get feedback from and build solutions for, users and customers
  • Write Issue case / incident report document
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Flexibility to operate in shifts
