Job Description
Our
client is one of the leading general insurance group; ranked Fortune 500 with top tier general insurance solutions providing around the globe. Their Hong Kong office is now looking for a Portfolio Analyst Senior Associate (Risk Assessment | General Insurance
Group | Welcome Open Big 4) to join their expanding team. This role will direct reporting to Singapore APAC head quarter manager, open to candidates in any of corporate credit risk analysis, trade finance or auditing in the banking, finance and accounting
industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage operational risk for overall business strategy and develop precautions
- Structure policies and assess risks in accordance with defined limits of authority, organizational policy and underwriting standards
- Define, identify and prepare risk mapping on policies, procedures, systems and processes
- Structure policies and assess risks in accordance with defined limits of authority, organizational policy and underwriting standards
- Manage and access the risk portfolio across the globe as required by clients based in Asia based on financial model findings
- Establish appropriate measurement techniques and reporting systems
- Build strong knowledge of current legislation, best practice, underwriting acceptance levels, systems and organizational guidelines
Requirement:
- Degree holder in Accounting & Finance, Economic or equivalence
- Minimum 3 years experiences in Risk Analysis, Credit analysis, Credit Insurance, Trading Finance, Auditing or equivalence (Open to candidates from Big 4 with strong financial statements analysis industry knowledge or top-tier financial services group)
- Initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations with good numeracy and literacy
- Good interpersonal skills discernment and the ability to assess a situation objectively attention to detail and sound report-writing skills
- Proficiency of both spoken and written in English & Chinese
- Ability to work independently, multi- tasking and work under pressure
- Willingness to fulfill business trip arrangement (once a month)
