Our client is a global law firm and one of the leaders within the practices. To cope with their expansion, they are looking for a Financial Analyst ti support their global FP&A team. 

Job Descriptions

• Prepares recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics
• Applies financial and analytical skills to create analysis and respond to various requests
• Utilizes Data-Mining and Database mechanisms to obtain data and then organizes the information to facilitate effective analysis and creates analytical reports
• Utilizes Database mechanisms, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic & SQL to develop and improve reporting processes
• Maintains detailed records documenting procedures and assumptions, methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks
• Works to ensure quality professional product, as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes
• Makes recommendations and works with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflow to ensure maximum efficiency in the FIC department
• Develops standard tools for reporting and analyzing data
• Completes special projects on various issues as needed
• Maintains professional image within the Finance and Accounting department and projects the same image to those outside of the department
• Supports FIC team members in completing tasks as required
• Promotes effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for coworkers

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required. Work Experience
• Minimum of 5 years related analytical experience in finance or accounting desired
• Experience responding to ad-hoc requests, developing analysis, and producing reports desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
• Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
• Ability to work independently to research, analyze, and develop financial information
• Ability to maintain flexibility with respect to assigned tasks due to changing deadlines, changing deliverables and changing task priorities
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly and effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including effective interpersonal communications (e.g., active listening)
• General knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles and terminology
• General knowledge of professional services business
