The client is global brand within the Wine & Spirits industry. With their current expansion in 2014, they are now looking for On-Trade Sales Manager – Wine & Spirits to join their professional team for their business. This is a newly created position.

• To be an integral part of the growth of Hong Kong’s business and successfully develop strong long term relationships and promote corporate's Hong Kong agencies to key wholesale accounts in the region
• Focus on and then expand the wholesale customer base as well as promote Hong Kong agencies by championing the philosophy and values of the corporate brand and its range of fine wine services
• Build customer and individual relationships which generate immediate and long-term sales
• Secure key listings and promotion opportunities with wholesale accounts including, but not limited to, wines by-the-glass, wine of the month, holidays sales and winemaker events
• Share knowledge, expertise and passion for wine with the local market to gain credibility and build a sustainable customer base
• Support the organization of corporate events which leverage the wholesale platform and perform ambassadorial duties when attending such events

Requirements:

• At least 3 years working in the On-Trade and/or Off-Trade fine wine arena in Hong Kong or Macau OR experience selling food & beverages to hotels, restaurants, bars or retailers
• Proven track record of customer acquisition and growth
• Existing relationships with decision makers at premier HK trade accounts
• Experience hosting wine tasting events
• Experience implementing monthly or ongoing wine promotions
• WSET Level 2 or above is ideal
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as the position of Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Executive
