Our client, an international bank, with diversified businesses in Wealth Management, Corporate, Investment Banking. With their continuous expansion in their wealth management business, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a high-caliber candidate to join them as a Product and Investment Specialist.

 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market feasibility studies on new product ideas
• Document investment objectives and constraints; developing investment portfolio strategies and provide advisory service to clients on their investment portfolio and performance
• Own the whole product development process and solicit approval from new product committee and regional product council
• Conduct Product Due Diligence
• Continue monitoring on product performance and underlying risks
• Provide regular product update and market trend analysis to Relationship Managers
• Understand the inherent risks of products including those related to its investment strategies to which it invests; Ensure the proper control environment is built in response to such risks
• Provide regular commentary to PW front office and other departments
• Identity cross-sell opportunities from other departments and business partners

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
• 6-8 years’ relevant experience in private wealth and private banking in product evaluation, development and enhancement
• Qualified to carry out Regulated Activities in Investment (Types 1 and 4) under SFO
• With certification in CPWP/CFA/CFP will be an advantage
• Sith sound knowledge in multi asset classes and familiar with the Hong Kong wealth management business practices and mid/back office operations
• Strong in creativity, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong in business analysis and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin speaker is an advantage
• Presentable, aggressive, result-oriented, and with good business acumen
• Strong interpersonal skill for the communication with people at different levels effectively
