Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate product development process (bags and Small Accessories) from design concept to pre-production stage;
- Research and analyze trends for development of new season collections and provide market analysis periodically;
- Create design drawings and presentations Create technical and detailed specification sheets for sampling;
- Liaise with merchandising team on all development and production issues.
Requirements:
- Degree or non-degree tertiary education, preferably in Product Design, Fashion Design or an Art related subject;
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in fashion handbag and accessories design, more experience will be consider as senior designer;
- Experience gained from Ladies handbags or Outdoor Bags preferable but not a must;
- Work independently and able to meet tight schedule in a fast-paced retail environment;
- Strong sense for design, color, material & fashion with strong understanding of trends;
- Proficiency in design and graphics design softwares such as Mac, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.;
- Can work under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Good team player, strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills to multi-task;
- Self-motivated, initiative, detail- minded;
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Occasional travel to China and overseas is required.
