Job Description:

• Develop new product from concept stage till 1^st shipment
• Provide technical support to the project teams and vendors in accordance with the quality standard.
• Communicate and Liaise with different departments, US counterparts and vendors
• Manage research, components sourcing, feasibility studies, and cost breakdowns for proposed development
• Examine new components, processes, procedures, and technology to be used in product development projects
• Manage budget and expenses control for each assigned project
• Ensure new product development plan and progress is performed in a timely and accurate basic
• Evaluate and solve electronic engineering and manufacturing problem (Applied to Electronics only)

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in toy engineering in leading new items development and 3 years supervisory experience
• Familiar with US, Europe and other major int’l markets’ toy quality and safety requirements
• Sound knowledge in electronic development and sourcing
• Creative and can always think out of the box
• Strong leadership, problem solving and decision making abilities
• Excellent organization skills with strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, positive mind-set with strong sense of commitment and able to work under pressure & overtime
• Good interpersonal & communication skill and a good team player
• Willing to travel and stay in China when necessary
• Proficient in MS Excel & Word
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese/Chinese and Mandarin
