Job Brief

We are looking for bright graduates in mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering (and associated disciplines) for executing various project under supervision by experienced engineers. Typical projects would involve the design and development of prototypes, engineering samples and pre-production samples of products for industrial, commercial and consumer use. Injection moulding, as well as electronic PCBAs, are commonly called for.

Responsibilities

• Execute the PCBA development flow from circuit design, prototyping, schematic capture, simulation, layout, fabrication, validation, assembly, production, to yield optimization
• Contribute to the mechanical design process, including structural fitting on imported IDs, material selection, DFM analysis and improvement, validation, assembly, production
• BoM creation, maintenance and optimization (cost & performance)
• Liaise with manufacturing partners and other subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery of quality products at a reasonable cost
• Capture customer requirements, prepare design documentation, test plan, etc.
• Develop as an individual to become autonomous, with opportunities to supervise and manage

Requirements

• Degree in relevant subjects with less than 3 years of practice
• Proficiency to communicate and work in a multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrate reasonable understanding of quality process essentials, e.g. version control, issue tracking, DFT and DFM practices
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of tools such as PowerPCB and Pro/Engineer is an advantage
• Software development skills are not essential but would help demonstrate capability in logical thinking
