Job Description

Our client is a reputable and prestigious hospitality group, having developed and operated a number of luxury hotels throughout South East Asia and Greater China. As a result of their rapid expansion, they are currently seeking for a Senior Manager – Hotel Operations to assist in the overall management and operations of the hospitality group. This role will be based in their corporate headquarters and oversee the group’s portfolio of assets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and collaborate with the individual General Managers, Heads of Departments and Club Managers to oversee hotel operations and business performance
  • Monitor operating systems, procedures & approved operating guidelines 
  • Oversee and manage the operating budgets and progress for all projects and activities
  • Oversee and manage the capital expenditure budget and other individual items
  • Coordinate and strategise with Corporate level senior management and hotel GM’s to develop viable business strategies and long-term development plans
  • Coordinate with hotel GM’s to develop asset enhancement and improvement schemes for the individual hotels  
  • Lead new development or improvement projects as assigned

  

Requirements:

  • University degree in Hospitality Management or related disciplines and qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the field of hospitality operations, preferably with international experience within reputable hotel chains, of which 8 years in managerial position.
  • Good understanding of international standards for products and services of Hotels & Clubhouses
  • Excellent proven leadership, interpersonal and operations experience
  • Strong reputation and network ability with the industry
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong commercial sense to understand market trends and business nature of hospitality
  • Highly motivated, independent and result-oriented
  • High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
  • Knowledgeable in IT development and application of technologies in operating systems 
  • Stationed in Hong Kong, with occasional travel to China and South East Asia
