EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Our client is one of Europe’s largest multinational banking and financial services company which has provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public-sector clients with value-added integrated financial solution. We are assisting to source for a DevOps Engineer to support a Global Service Team for IT Infrastructure Department based in Hong Kong.

JOB SCOPE 

• Maintain and develop the infrastructure of various projects.
• Take ownership of an extensive set of systems for continuous integration, containerization, database replication, server provisioning, log file aggregation, disaster recovery and others
• Hands-on work with tools such as Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Salt-Stack and Ansible
• Hands-on work with cloud providers such as AWS, Asure, Linode and Google Cloud
• Identify and propose strategies to optimize the current DevOps setup
• Work in an agile team using scrum

MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years’ experience in DevOps related technologies
• Solid knowledge in Linux based system 
• Experience working in agile/scrum teams will be an advantage
• Better to have experience in administering VMWare vSphere and ESXi Software 
• Coding or scripting experience with Python or other mainstream language
