Our client is one of the well-established top-tier financial group around the globe, their business operation in more than 38 countries, and is continuously expanding its top class business globally. Ranked Fortune 500, with a diversified portfolio of businesses and they are now looking for a Senior Claims Officer/Claims Officer (General Insurance | P&C & Motor Focuses) to join their Hong Kong claims team. 

Responsibilities:

• Assess and process claims according to company's claims guidelines
• Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim analyzing a claim made by a policymaker
• Resolves claims by approving or denying documentation; calculating benefit due; initiating payment or composing denial letter
• Monitoring potential fraudulent claims and undertaking a range of loss adjusting activities
• Prepares required analysis and reports on Property & Casualty claims
• Handle claims related inquiries from the policyholders, brokers or relevant parties
• Assists in training and development for new joiners 

Requirements:

• Degree holder or tertiary educational background equivalence 
• Minimum 3 years of relevance experiences in any claims officer role in general insurance field (EC, motor claims exposure are essential)
• For those candidates with more supervisory experiences will be considered as a Senior Claims Officer title  
• Qualified Member of ANZIIF or CII are beneficial  
• initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations good numeracy and literacy
• Good interpersonal skills discernment and the ability to assess a situation objectively attention to detail and sound report-writing skills.
• Proficiency of both spoken and written in English & Chinese 
• Ability to work independently, multi- tasking and work under pressure
