CSR Asia is a mission-driven business that has evolved over 15 years to become a leader in sustainability issues in Asia. The selected candidate will gain first-hand experience working with Hong Kong listed companies and multinationals to develop, implement and report on environmental, social and governance strategy and performance. CSR Asia also works with international NGOs to promote sustainable development in Asia.

The role provides candidates with the opportunity to build skills in sustainability consulting, a dynamic and growing sector. You will deepen your knowledge of hot topics such as: climate change, circular economy, gender equality, green finance, the Sustainable Development Goals, supply chain management and how businesses are responding to these issues. You will gain exposure to a range of different industries and approaches. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of work experience looking to develop a career in sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support consultants (Sustainability strategy development, quantitative data analysis, industry benchmarking, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, sustainability program implementation, and other consulting project work)
• Support in preparing content and logistical arrangements of conferences/events led by the company
• Support in preparing fee proposal
• Occasionally assist in marketing and sales approaches for consulting services
• Occasionally assist in the development research reports, white papers, marketing materials, newsletter articles, and other documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability or related discipline is preferred
• Strong writing skills in English and/ or Chinese
• Ability to understand and interpret quantitative data
• Detail and solutions oriented
• Takes initiative and is able to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about social and environmental topics
• High-level of professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Competent understanding and application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
