Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To achieve financial targets set for each assigned fundraising projects and programs
- To be responsible for the marketing strategies, planning, implementation, operation and outcome evaluation for each assigned projects and programs
- To develop new sponsors and explore new fundraising initiatives
- To formulate proposals to secure sponsorship and donations
- To manage the relationship with donors and corporate sponsors
- To develop marketing and digital materials and social media campaigns
- To lend support to other members of the team, and work towards the overall departmental goals
- To provide guidance and coaching to volunteers and interns
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Fundraising Manager or in her absence the Deputy Director, Marketing and Communications
Requirements:
- Degree in marketing, communication, business administration or relevant discipline
- 5 years of related experience in fundraising with a non-profit or charitable organizations
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines under minimum supervision
- Good team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays when and where required
- Genuine interest in the welfare of animals
