Reporting to the JSA Manager, the Sports and Recreation Officer is to help JSA (may also help Admin & Property Department) to promote activities by various electronic means and social media with the goal for JSA to further enhance efficiency, employee participation and engagement through e promotion, digitalization and processes automation.

The incumbent will also help leading and organizing certain Sports and Recreation activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Electronic Promotion & ITSupport

• Help sourcing, evaluating, planning and implementing new IT system to improve work efficiency andeffectiveness
• Help maintaining various system in JSA (and Admin & PropertyDepartment)
• Liaise with suppliers and monitor the performance of thesystem
• Provide general simple programming to automate differentprocesses
• Design and develop e promotion material; evaluate, set up and maintain various social media to enhance memberscommunication
• Suggest and plan events to be organized to engagemembers
• JSA events management from identifying, planning and budgeting, vendor and venue sourcing, promotion, execution andevaluation
• Design promotions material and conductpromotion
• Manage registration and confirmation tomembers
• Assign duty to helpers andvolunteers
• Act as a commander in events, oversee and ensure smooth operations of theevents
• Evaluate the performance of the supplier and collect feedback from theparticipants

Events Management

QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENT

• Graduate in IT related discipline is an added advantage but not amust
• Relevant work experience in IT field or organizing sports/recreational events would be a plus
• Has strong interest in sports and using oftechnology
• A self-starter with good initiative andcreativity
• Good project and event managementskills
• Good language (English and Cantonese) skills and effective in communicating with people of different background
• Computer literate with proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Typing.
