WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

• Work closely with the Principal to formulate buying strategy and pricing strategy for HK & Macau regions
• Monitor OTB budget in conjunction with merchandising planning to meet business objectives
• Monitor sales performance through in-depth sales analysis, sell through and trends
• Manage merchandise distribution, stock allocation and merchandise re-ordering to achieve optimum sales, sell through and gross profit
• Attend overseas buying trip for order placement as required and approved by the Principal
• Constantly review efficiency of working practices to drive margin and sell through
• Work with sales and operation team, marketing team and VM team to ensure that retail promotions be meeting brand objectives and target
• Develop product information and training to front line staff for all regions to enable understanding of merchandise strategies as well as the range’s features and benefits
• Make regular store visits and meeting with front line staff to gauge a better understanding of customer needs
• Maintain awareness of competitor analysis such as price point, brand and product positioning
• Exercise merchandising expertise to advise and assist the team to grow the Brand

YOU NEED TO BE…

• University degree or diploma in business administration or fashion management
• Minimum 5 years as a buyer with preference in fashion industry and demonstrate fashion sense and latest trends
• Relevant buying experience in men’s wear is an advantage
• Team player who work well with others
• Commercially astute with strong numerical acumen
• Organized with a methodical approach to task and problems
• Ability to meet deadline and to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Buyer
