Our company is looking to diversify into the distribution of food products. We are interested in hiring a Sales and Business Development Manager who is passionate, knowledgeable and experienced in food products, as we work to launch our new food distribution department.

Title: SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Food)

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop a new line of food products (preferably items with a long shelf life), including but not limited to biscuits, nuts, condiments/sauces, and organic products.
2. Explore business opportunities and pursue new clients/suppliers (such as supermarkets, grocery stores, department stores, retail shops, hotels, corporate offices etc.)
3. Create a strong wholesale network of various purchasing and sales channels to achieve aggressive sales targets.
4. Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and continue to build relationships with new business partners.
5. Prepare reports for management review
6. Offer marketing ideas and organize marketing campaigns.
7. Participate and display products at conventions.

Requirements:

1. Diploma holder with at least 4 years experience in sales and marketing of food products
2. Good connections with suppliers / clients of food products is preferable.
3. Strong organization, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
4. Self-motivated and positive work attitude
5. Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese; Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Chinese Word Processing.
