We are UK/France brand business company and are looking for an Assistant Quality Manager for electrical, toys, softlines and hardlines categories including electrical appliances, solar light, LED light chain, furniture, toys, cookware, houseware, textile and home decoration, etc. This person will assist QA manager and complete his tasks.

Key responsibilities include:-

•Help QA manager to supervise QA and QC department, and report to him and/or the management

•Ensure that products and services meet customer standards

•Communicate with internal merchandising teams and French customers on relevant quality and safety issues

•Train internal QA technologists and QCs to meet the company requirement

•To monitor and coordinate with external service providers, such as lab testing and inspection, to ensure delivered services in terms of quality and prices are in competitive level

Requirements

•Degree holder in Engineering or science. Diploma holder with more solid experience will be also considered.

•At least 7 years of working experience in quality of handling a wide range of product categories, including general electrical appliances, furniture, toys, softlines and /or hardline products, etc.

•Good knowledge of EN/France safety requirements and quality standards.

•Previous experience in handling French market, especially from trading or buying office, is highly preferable.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

•High integrity and reliable. Able to work under pressure.

•Travel to China (not frequent) on request
