Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To establish, formulate and review company’s health and safety manual, and prepare emergency procedures for the Facility
- To advise the top management and other Department to comply with the safety legislations such as F. & I. U. Ordinances, Fire Service Ordinances, and other related safety legislations, etc.
- To conduct health, safety, and fire prevention audits and inspections in the Facility
- To investigate incidents, accidents and dangerous occurrences occurred in/outside the plant and make recommendations on preventive measures.
- To compile company accident statistic and identify accident trends
- To conduct in-house health, safety and fire prevention training course for company staff and new employees.
Qualifications:
- Degree graduate and a registered Safety Officer with HK Government
- 2-3 years experience in environmental regulatory field, with specific experience in hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal areas. Program experience in the areas of health and safety is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Hong Kong Labour regulations is necessary.
- Good spoken and written English.
