  • Support in the preparation of annual plan / estimates
  • Conduct analysis and track monthly actuals with plan / estimates
  • Review cashflow forecast for bids and provide financial advice on go/no-go process
  • Assist to improve effectiveness and efficiency of project administration and internal control
  • Liaise with Finance Operations on credit ratings for new customers
  • Support the business on structuring (project set-up) and budgeting of projects (contract recognition)
  • Validate project forecasts against contract financial requirements
  • Support management on periodical project reviews
  • Challenge the project directors / project managers on project financials, team composition, feasibility of project schedule and information quality
  • Assist month end closing in respect of project performance and possible intervention
  • Support the business to ensure risks/opportunities are properly reflected in accruals, forecasts, provisions and contingencies
  • Supervise/conduct all activities of Project Admin
  • Collaborate with Billing Specialists to monitor billing against monthly target
  • Be the bridge of Cash Collection/Project Manager/Legal for disputes on outstanding debts
  • Support PM in WIP forecasts
  • Report monthly financials to Division Controller with quality and timeliness
  • Proactive performance analysis to support management decisions
  • Ad hoc reporting for Division management, Financial Controller/Division Controller and Project Managers

 Job Requirement

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance, member of HKICPA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in similar position with projects and accounting
  • Knowledge of revenue accounting and IFRS 15 preferable
  • Ability to learn and use accounting/management system
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and numeric skills
  • Proactive attitude and accurate work
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
  • Agility and focus to support management
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Immediate available or short notice is highly preferred
