A client is currently seeking a high calibre candidate for the following position:

Operational Manager- Risk & Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Enhance the operational risk policies to ensure the ERM framework is embedded in the business activities
• Update the current risk assessment and control process which include risk appetite, tolerance and limits,
• Provide analysis and follow-up on the closure of related management actions and recovery plan
• Perform risk and control review, evaluate the strengths and  weaknesses of controls to ensure the efficiency and security of information systems
• Monitor the IT reporting program to ensure the prevention detection, containment and correction of security & data breaches
• Coordinate the activities which include system development, change management and new technology projects with the IT team & users to ensure unforeseen problems can be addressed in a timely and controlled manner
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business or IT related discipline
• Certification in CISA, CISSP, CISM,  MCITP is preferred
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience from insurance or banking industry (e.g. IT audit, IT governance / control, cybersecurity, etc.)
• Experience in Information security assessments with infrastructure (e.g. ServerOS, Databases, Network Firewalls, etc.)
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum guidance as well as a team player
• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese and English
