A client is currently seeking a high calibre candidate for the following position:

Settlement Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily settlement operation including HK and overseas equities, futures, options and bonds
• Solid experience on fund deposit / withdrawal, settlement instruction, corporate actions, IPO, placement, etc.
• Responsible for account opening operations of back office support
• Handle and monitor daily stock and cash reconciliation
• Formulate and review the settlement procedures to streamline workflow and minimize operational risk
• Lead a team and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on HK securities clearing and settlement
• Ensure operational procedures in compliance with rules and regulations
• Handle ad hoc projects in business development and regulatory requirement

Requirements:

• Bachelor holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 4-6 years settlement experience in HK equities, futures; options and fixed income products
• Familiar with the operations of CCASS and DCASS
• Self-motivated, independent, good communications and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandairn
