The Role Responsibilities

Manager/ Associate, Open Banking & API

We are looking for a candidate with strong creativity and passion in digital sales & service to join the Open Banking & API team in digital banking to drive Open API collaborations with external partners to grow the online sales business of retail banking. The candidate will report to the Executive Director & Head, Open Banking & API.

Day to Day

  • To advocate Standard Chartered Open API platform and capabilities with Third Party Service Providers (TSPs) to drive product acquisition/ customer satisfaction

  • Assist to set the onboarding, governance and onging monitoring framework of TSPs

  • Day-to-Day interactions with product teams and TSPs on collaboration opportunities, coordinate & monitor onboarding process. Manage relationship with TSPs

  • Ensure efficient processes for channelling communication from assigned team

  • Ensure all issues relating to security and integrity of the Bank automated channels are satisfie

  • Act as an expert for channel issues and facilitate effective communication of best practice

  • Establish close relationships with business teams to meet the business objective

Qualifications and Requirements

  • ​Good understanding of Retail Banking business and products, preferably in digital sales & acquisition initiatives

  • Creative and dynamic in exploring different uses cases to drive innovation

  • Strong stakeholder management skills through effective communication, presentation and influencing

  • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions, with the ability to anticipate challenges

  • Strong judgement skills to identify and resolve complex problems whilst adhering to time-lines and quality of output
