Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join their expanding team.

 

Responsibilities: 

• To support the infrastructure for File Sharing environment 
• Work as a team member in delivery team, closely work with application owners, security team to draft system run books and standard procedures 
• To provide File Sharing usage analysis. Suggest change plan to increase utilization
• Develop inhouse shell scripts or procedures for reclaim shared space 
• Dataset format restructure recommendation to increase deduplication ratio 
• To perform data migration

 

Requirements: 

• Expert in Microsoft Windows file sharing technology such as Sharepoint, Active Directory, NTFS, CIFS 
• Experience in supporting similar environment is required 
• Knowledge of file servers consolidation will be an advantage 
• Familiar with automation by means of shell scripting, tools and procedures 
• Knowledge of Document policy control
