Job Duties:

• Perform database administration, database security self-assessment, patching and hardening
• Perform technology upgrade for the database to keep the databases at supported level
• Ensure that the database assets and systems are managed in accordance with the security policies and standards
• Responsible for the upkeep of database related policy, architecture and design artefact
• Responsible for the design/writing/implementation of database services

Requirement Details:

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer/Information Science or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in supporting MS SQL database.
• Managing experience of MS SQL Servers (2005, 2008, 2012 & 2016). In-depth knowledge and experience would be a major advantage.
• Strong experience in database performance tuning
• Good knowledge of IT systems architecture
• Knowledge & experience in database backup & recovery, high availability and replication technology
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet system performance service levels
• Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized
• Good team player, proactive communication with his / her teammates and subordinates
