Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and develop web and business applications across a diverse range of platforms
- Prepare in documentation of specifications, technical design and training materials for users and project team members
- Performance tune and scale applications to ensure quality and performance are up to standards
- Enhance the capabilities of programs and remove any errors through modification and correction of coding
- Perform unit tests and integration tests using manual and automated approaches
- Ensure application programs meet user requirements and are delivered on time
- Provide application support and troubleshoot issues using appropriate analysis and programming skills
- Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, System Analyst and other programmers
Qualifications and Required Attributes
- Degree in computer science and/or related fields with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Solid working experience in PeopleSoft and web-based applications development with PeopleTools, J2EE/PHP/.NET and Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL
- Experience in PeopleSoft Campus solution is preferred but not a must
- Experience in Spring / Struts Framework and Crystal / SSRS Report is preferred
- Familiar with Windows, Linux and open source platforms
- Knowledge of PMP, SDLC and Agile development methodology preferred; Practical experience would be an advantage
- Strong skills in troubleshooting using a range of technical skills and knowledge
- Strong team player, self-motivated and hard-working
- Fluent in English and Chinese
